Este es un gran avance, ya que hace solo un tiempo no hab\u00eda evidencia concreta de que existiera ning\u00fan planeta m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El primer descubrimiento confirmado de este tipo de planeta, conocido como &#8220;exoplaneta&#8221;, se realiz\u00f3 en 1992. En la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, con la ayuda del Telescopio Espacial Kepler, se han descubierto m\u00e1s y m\u00e1s exoplanetas, seg\u00fan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/news\/nasa-drops-insane-map-of-4000-planets-discovered-outside-our-solar-system\/?utm_source=DesignTAXI&amp;utm_medium=DesignTAXI&amp;utm_term=DesignTAXI&amp;utm_content=DesignTAXI&amp;utm_campaign=DesignTAXI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CNET<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de que el telescopio se extinguiera en 2018, observatorios como el sat\u00e9lite de exploraci\u00f3n de exoplanetas en tr\u00e1nsito se hicieron cargo y descubrieron muchos m\u00e1s cuerpos celestes. El 4,000 fue descubierto en junio de este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Pronto se podr\u00e1n usar dos nuevos telescopios espaciales, el Sat\u00e9lite de Exoplanetas Caracterizante Europeo (CHEOPS) y el Telescopio Espacial James Webb de la NASA, en 2021. Sus usos son significativos, ya que pueden ayudar a determinar si alguno de esos planetas puede sustentar la vida.
