(Foto: Especial)\" data-description=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<p><strong>Notimex.-<\/strong> La Procuradur\u00eda Federal de Protecci\u00f3n al Ambiente (Profepa) clausur\u00f3 este s\u00e1bado las operaciones de la Terminal Mar\u00edtima de Mexicana de Cobre, filial de Grupo M\u00e9xico, localizada en Guaymas, Sonora.<\/p>\n<p>A las 02:00 horas, personal de la dependencia acudi\u00f3 a la sede de la Administraci\u00f3n Portuaria Integral de Guaymas, para colocar los sellos de clausura.<\/p>\n<p>El 10 de julio, la Terminal Mar\u00edtima Mexicana del Cobre derram\u00f3 3,000 litros de \u00e1cido sulf\u00farico en el Mar de Cort\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>El vertimiento fue ocasionado por una falla en las v\u00e1lvulas de las tuber\u00edas de Grupo M\u00e9xico durante un proceso de trasvase en la Terminal Mar\u00edtima de Guaymas, informaron autoridades portuarias.<\/p>\n<p>A trav\u00e9s de un comunicado, la Administraci\u00f3n Portuaria Integral de Guaymas (API), Sonora, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que ese d\u00eda, &#8220;a las 13:50 horas, trabajadores de Grupo M\u00e9xico procedieron a cerrar las v\u00e1lvulas e iniciaron con el rebombeo hacia los tanques para evitar un derrame considerable&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Abraham Larios, administrador general de API Guaymas, indic\u00f3 que los hechos se registraron cuando se realizaban pruebas para cargar un barco.<\/p>\n<p>Este derrame ha generado la exigencia de que se sancione al Grupo M\u00e9xico, ya que se menciona que ha causado 22 ecocidios en los \u00faltimos 30 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Lee tambi\u00e9n:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com.mx\/gobierno-busca-dialogo-con-grupo-mexico-antes-de-medida-drastica-por-derrame\/\">Gobierno busca di\u00e1logo con Grupo M\u00e9xico antes de &amp;#8216;medida dr\u00e1stica&amp;#8217; por derrame<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com.mx\/profepa-clausura-terminal-de-grupo-mexico-por-derrame-de-acido-sulfurico\/\">Profepa clausura terminal de Grupo M\u00e9xico por derrame de \u00e1cido sulfurico<\/a><br \/>\n<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com.mx\/author\/forbes-staff\/\">Forbes Staff<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Forbes M\u00e9xico.
